Williamson's Monument is a memorial erected in 1803, made of rough stone rubble and standing approximately 8 feet high. It was established by the Reverend Thomas Williamson in memory of his father, who reportedly walked up to High Knott each day for many years. On the east side of the monument, there is a plaque with the inscription: "In Memory of THOMAS WILLIAMSON of Height, in Hugill, Gent. who died Feb 15th 1797 Aged 66 Years [Erected 1803]."
