Description
Kentmere Mills, located immediately south-west of Barley Bridge, is a mill built in the early to mid 19th century. It features stone rubble walls with through stones, drip courses, and quoins, topped by a graduated greenslate roof. The building has four storeys and includes twelve windows, primarily late 19th century casements set in original openings that have shallow segmental arches and slate voussoirs, with some windows blocked.
