Description

The Wray is a building located at 1291A Grasmere, which may date back partly to the 16th century but is mainly from the early 19th century. The exterior is pebble-dashed with a slate roof and features two high storeys. The front has a central glazed door flanked by two early 19th-century small-paned sash windows on the ground floor, similar to those found at St Oswald's. Above, there are two 16-paned sash windows. At the rear, there is a wing that includes a Gothic traceried window.
