Description

St Oswald's is an early 19th-century building located in Grasmere. It features a pebble-dashed exterior with a slate roof and end chimneys, and it stands two storeys tall. The front of the building, which faces the village, has four windows on each floor, showcasing good small-paned sash windows with slate sills. On the right-hand end, there is a lower single-storey section that includes a small bay window. The left-hand gable end has two similar windows on the ground floor but no windows on the first floor. The entrance is located in the rear wing and is highlighted by a traceried fanlight.
