Description

Sycamore Cottage and an attached barn, likely dating from the 18th century with later additions. The house is constructed of stone rubble, with some areas roughcast, and has dressed stone for the barn. It has slate roofs. The cottage has two storeys and three bays, with the central bay projecting and gabled. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, likely replaced in the late 20th century. The central bay features a round-headed window above a plain entrance with a late 20th century door. A gable-end stack is present. A rear, gabled wing is attached to the barn, which has a ramp with a passage pierced through it. The barn passage leads to an elliptical-headed entrance.
