Description

Wellington House is a former farmhouse dating from the late 18th or early 19th century. It is constructed of mixed red and calciferous sandstone rubble, with the front elevation covered in painted incised render and V-jointed quoins. The roof is of graduated green slate, with chimney stacks of banded red sandstone. The house is two storeys high and has three bays. A central panelled door is set within a stone surround and sheltered by a pediment. Sash windows are set in painted stone surrounds.
