Description
Croft House is a house from the early 19th century, located on the south side of Askham the Green. It features painted incised stucco with decorative eaves modillions and V-jointed quoins, topped by a graduated greenslate roof with cement rendered chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The central entrance consists of a panelled door with an overlight, set within a prostyle Tuscan porch. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, are framed by raised painted stone surrounds, with the window above the entrance being larger. To the right, there is a garage and former stables that have been altered into a separate dwelling, but these are not of special interest.
