Description
The clock tower at Irton Hall was built around 1874, possibly by Grayson, for J.L. Burns Lindow. It is constructed of rough-dressed stone and features rusticated corbels supporting a parapet. The tower has graduated slate roofs, with a swept, pyramidal roof over the bellcote, which holds a wind vane. The tower is four-tiered and has a single-storey outbuilding adjoining it, with a plank door at the base of the tower. The tower is listed for its group value within the estate.
