Description
The balustrading, urns, and terrace wall to the garden on the north side of Castlerigg Manor were built in the later 19th century. This structure features classical balustrading on the garden terrace, which includes round arches and shell motifs, along with square piers placed at intervals and classical urns. There is also a double staircase leading down from the terrace. The garden side of the terrace wall displays a classical frieze adorned with putti and swags, and there is a round bastion at the west end.
