Description

This barn, located 200 meters southeast of Helsfell Farmhouse, is likely a remnant of the old Helsfell Hall and dates from the 16th century, with later alterations. It features limestone rubble walls and a graduated green slate roof. The original windows have moulded labels, and there is a moulded ceiling beam, as noted by the Royal Commission on the Historical Monuments of England. At the time of the survey, the barn was in poor condition.
