Description

Coppice Barn, built around 1850, is located approximately 600 yards northeast of Gowan Bank Farm. The barn features stone rubble walls and a graduated greenslate roof adorned with blue glazed ridge tiles, which are supported by circular rubble columns. It consists of two bays and has simple roof trusses. This barn is noted as the only known complete example of a small building of its type in the area and is in very good repair.
