Description

Stonelands and the adjoining outbuilding are a house and outbuilding dating from 1708. The structure is built of stone rubble with slobbered mortar and features a slate roof. It has two storeys and three bays. The first bay of the ground floor has two windows with stone lintels, while the second bay has two windows, one of which has a flat arch with rubble voussoirs. The windows have small-paned casements; three on the ground floor have opening lights, and there is one first-floor window with three lights, while the others are 20th-century top-hung casements. The entrance features a half-glazed door and a 20th-century open timber porch on a roughcast brick base. There is a stack at the left angle and a gable-end stack. The right side of the building facing the street has two bays, with the first bay gabled, a weathered buttress, and four casement windows, along with a gable-end stack. The outbuilding projects to the right and has paired doors. The left side is rendered and includes an attic window.

Inside, the building has ovolo beams. The spice cupboard door features initials, a date, and a decorative panel, along with a wide boarded door. The staircase has square newels and a moulded handrail without balusters, which may be in a splat form. The first floor includes plank and muntin partitioning and two-panel doors.
