Description

The Travellers Rest is an old coaching inn located at the foot of Dunmail Raise. It is constructed with roughcast over stone rubble and features a slate roof, standing two storeys tall. The building consists of two blocks that step down the hillside. The upper block has four 16-paned sash windows on the ground floor and two 12-paned sashes above. The lower block contains two doors with modern porches, six sashes on the ground floor, and five above, mostly with 16-paned designs.
