Description

The barn, located to the southwest of Gillside, dates to an unknown period. It is a traditional barn constructed of dry stone rubble, situated below a house and closer to the road. A drying gallery is incorporated, covered by a lean-to catslide roof. Shippons (small cow shelters) are set into the gable end at a lower level on the hillside.
