Description

Town Head Cottage is a 17th-century building, dated 1688 on a plaster panel on the east wall. It features rough, thick walls made of lime-washed stone rubble and has a flag roof. The cottage is two storeys high, with a door located on the gable end to the south. The east front has three windows on the ground floor and two above. Although the windows are now modern casements, they are set in their original openings. A modern building to the north is excluded from this description.
