Description
Town Head Farmhouse is a 17th-century building with roughcast over thick stone walls and a flag roof, featuring two round chimneys. It has two storeys. The south front includes a central glazed door, two modern windows on the ground floor, and three above, with a dripstone over the ground floor. The right-hand chimney partly projects on corbels. The building is in an L shape, with the front facing the road, which has a door and a new window on the ground floor, two new windows above, and a round chimney. Old shippons made of dry stone walling adjoin at right angles to the south. Modern additions to the east are excluded from this description. The interior is said to contain a cupboard dated 1702.
