Description

Underhelm Farmhouse is a building that may date back to the 16th century, with later alterations. It features a lime-washed roughcast exterior over stone rubble and has a slate roof with two chimneys. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has a central glazed and boarded door, flanked by two casement windows on the ground floor and three above. There is a slate dripstone over part of the ground floor. The lower section to the right was likely once a farm building but is now part of the house and has modern windows. Underhelm Cottage and the barn to the north of Underhelm Farmhouse form a group with the farmhouse.
