Description
The Old Crown Inn is a coaching inn dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with freestone dressings and features a double Roman tiled roof with coped raised verges, along with brick and ashlar stacks. The building has two storeys, with three bays on the right side and two on the left, and is fitted with glazing bar sash windows. There are 20th-century gabled porches at the center of the right part and at the north of the left section. A flight of steps leads to a plank door located on the first floor of the left section. Additionally, there is a lean-to at the north end of the building.
