Description
Cloggs Farmhouse is a longhouse dating from the 16th to 17th century, with alterations made in the late 19th century. The building is roughcast over rubble, with the left end bay left exposed. It has a slate roof and a brick stack on the right gable end, with roughcast covering the stack behind the entrance. The layout suggests it is a lobby entry longhouse. The structure has two storeys and is arranged in a 1:1:3 bay configuration. Most windows are late 19th to early 20th century 2-light casements, except for the end bay, which features a part-glazed window for the loft over the stables, flanked by two square-headed doorways. A gabled single-storey porch with a pointed arch opening is located between the second and third bays on the left, with an additional entry on the right return. The interior has not been seen but is believed to contain features of interest.
