Description

The churchyard cross, located about 3 metres south of the porch of the Church of St Peter in Exton, is made of Ham stone and local stone. It dates back to the medieval period, with some parts renewed in the late 19th century. The cross features a square socket with broached corners, and an octagonal shaft from the 19th century, which is topped by a cross with cresting. This cross is not mentioned in Pooley's "Old Crosses of Somerset," published in 1877.
