Description

This building is a shippon, which is a type of agricultural outbuilding, located immediately northeast of Addislade. It dates from the 18th century and is constructed of stone rubble with granite quoins and doorway arches. The roof is made of corrugated iron sheets and features gabled ends. The structure has two storeys, with the ground floor featuring shippon doors that have slightly cambered granite arches, as well as small windows with granite lintels. Above, there is a hay loft doorway. This building is included in the listing for its group value.
