Two window range. Small C20 casements. Two gabled dormers at eaves level. Plank door at centre. Interior: Three chamfered ceiling beams with step stops. Timber fireplace lintel in west gable end, chamfered with run-out stops. Roof: Four trusses with morticed apices and dovetail lap-jointed collars, side-pegged. Threaded purlins and diagonal ridge piece, one tier of purlins visible, the lower tier shows in first floor rooms. Some of the rafters survive. All the roof timbers are smoke-blackened, more heavily blackened over east end which was originally the centre and therefore the hall.
