4/221 Townsend headstone approximately 45 metres north-west of north aisle of Church of St Andrew GV II

Headstone. Dated 1722 in memory of John Townsend. Granite. Upright slab standing approximately 600mm high with a low elliptical head. The front has a simple incised border and it is inscribed with neat Roman serif upper and lower case lettering. It records the death of John Townsend in 1722.
