Description
This farmhouse, located about 15 meters northeast of Burnville, dates from the 18th century and is currently used as a store. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a gabled corrugated iron roof with stone stacks at both ends. The building has a single depth plan with a rear outshut and a central staircase. It stands two storeys high and has a roughly symmetrical front with three windows. The central entrance is a gabled stone porch. The ground floor windows are 19th-century casements with glazing bars, set under segmental brick arches. The first floor has slightly irregular fenestration, featuring three 2-light casements, each with 12 panes per light. Inside, the farmhouse showcases exposed ceiling beams and 2-panel doors.
