Description
This is a barn, likely from the 18th century, located approximately 7 metres north-east of North Wonson Farmhouse. The barn has been reroofed in the 20th century and is constructed from granite stone rubble that tends to ashlar work in the lower courses, with large dressed quoins. It features a slate roof, which was formerly thatched. The barn faces the farm entrance to the south-east and is relatively small with a gable end. It has a large central front doorway that includes a 19th-century door. There is no evidence of a rear door, but there is a blocked doorway on the right end. Inside, the barn is open to the 20th-century replacement roof. This barn is part of a group that includes North Wonson Farmhouse and Wonson Manor along with its associated buildings.
