Description

The garden walls located 5 to 20 meters northwest and southwest of The Old Court House in Ashburton are likely from the 17th to early 19th century. These walls are constructed of stone rubble and stand approximately 3 to 3.6 meters high. The walls on the northwest side were originally part of a rectangular walled garden, although the southwest corner has since been demolished.
