Description
This barn, located about 15 metres south-west of Chittleford Farmhouse on the opposite side of the road, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of granite rubble and features a half-hipped roof covered with corrugated iron. The barn is one storey high and was originally designed with a loft. There are two large doorways facing the road, each fitted with old plank doors that have wrought-iron strap-hinges. Inside, the roof is supported by scissor-braced roof-trusses.
