Description
Ash House is located approximately 12 metres east of Shapley Farmhouse and is likely from the 18th century. The building features granite rubble walls and a conical corbelled granite rubble roof that is covered with turfs. It has a granite lintel above both the door and window. The structure has a circular plan, with a loading chute facing the lane and the door on the opposite side. It forms part of the field wall that adjoins the lane.
