Description
This is a barn located directly southeast of Higher Langdon Farmhouse, likely built in the 18th century. It features granite rubble walls that include some large blocks and substantial quoins. The roof is made of corrugated iron and is hipped at both ends. There are wide central doorways on opposite sides of the barn, which has a long rectangular single-room layout and is a single storey. The doorway on the north side, facing the farmhouse, has a roughly dressed granite lintel. To the left of this doorway, there is an open-fronted outshut made of granite rubble. Inside, the barn has a raised stone slab threshing floor and a 19th-century pegged roof with straight principals and lapped collars.
