Description

The stable and granary located immediately to the north of Easdon Cottage is likely from the late 18th century. It features granite rubble walls, with the right-hand side of the first floor filled in with corrugated iron. The roof is also made of corrugated iron and has hipped ends. The building consists of a stable on the ground floor, possibly with an adjoining harness or feed store, and a granary on the first floor, which is accessed by external stone steps.

The structure has two storeys and presents three doors on the front wall, which are irregularly placed. There is a window and steps between the first two doors, along with a small opening at ground floor level between the second and third doors, likely intended for a dog kennel. Above the left-hand door, there are two pigeon holes.

Inside, a stone wall divides the building up to first floor height. The left-hand room contains a rough cross beam, and the floor is cobbled. The roof trusses feature lapped and pegged collars.
