Description

Ash house, probably from the 18th century, located approximately 6 metres south-west of Shilstone Farmhouse. It is constructed of granite stone rubble and has a circular shape with a conical corbelled roof made of granite slabs. The building features a doorway on the south-east side and a loading hatch window on the south-west side. This distinctive agricultural structure is part of a group with Shilstone Farmhouse and its associated farm buildings, situated in a particularly attractive location.
