Stables Approximately 15 Metres To North East Of Coombe Farmhouse

The stables, located approximately 15 metres to the north-east of Coombe Farmhouse, date from the mid-19th century. They feature granite rubble walls with dressed granite voussoirs forming flat arches and a slate roof with gable ends. The building has a long rectangular plan divided into two parts, with loose boxes in the left-hand section. It is a single storey with a loft above.

The facade is roughly symmetrical, with the left-hand side having a central wide doorway with a segmental arch and a tall loading door above, which is topped by a round-headed voussoir arch. There are windows on the ground floor to the left and right of the doorway. The right-hand section has a central doorway with an inserted loading door above, tall windows on either side at ground floor level, and smaller windows on the first floor. Inside, the left-hand section is divided into loose boxes by what may be the original rough wooden partitions.
