Description
Stables approximately 12.5 metres north-west of Middle Coombe Farmhouse, dating from the mid to late 19th century. The building is constructed from exposed local stone rubble and features a slate roof. It is positioned down a hillslope, facing south-east. The stable is located at the right (north-east) end, while a cart house on the left has been converted into a garage. There are haylofts above. The front of the building includes a garage door on the left and a stable door to the right of centre, with an unglazed 2-light window to the right of the stable door. A hayloft loading hatch is roughly central. Most of the joinery details are from the 19th century, and the roof is hipped at both ends. The interior contains plain 19th-century carpentry details.
