Description
No. 21 Church Street is a house that is now part of a school, dating from the early 19th century. It features Flemish bond brickwork, a tile roof, and a brick stack. The building has three storeys and is two-windowed, with 12 over 16-pane sash windows set in exposed boxes. These windows are adorned with good brick voussoirs, fluted keystones, and a cornice. On the ground floor, there is a tripartite sash window with 8:12:8 panes beneath a full-width fascia. To the right of this window is a broad 6-pane flush doorway that is accessed by two stone steps. The building has a coped parapet, a brick stack on the left, and straight joints on both sides. The interior has not been inspected.
