House in row, with shop. Early C18 front to earlier structure. Painted brickwork, steep-pitched tiled roof, brick stack. Parallel-plan front range. 2 storeys and attic, 3-windowed. Central 2-light small-pane casement gabled dormer above 12-pane sashes to face boxes, painted brick voussoirs, scroll-like keystones. Immediately below stone cills a 2-course brick band. Ground floor has C19 shop front with 9-pane display windows flanking part-glazed door under shallow transom-light; to the right a C19 flush-panel door under transom-light, to throughway. Display front in end pilasters with scroll brackets, 5 slender cast-iron columns, and fascia with cornice and remains of cast-iron decorative cresting. 2 blocked basement openings in shop stall-board risers. At back eaves a lofty brick stack. Three C20 roof lights in the back slope. Long low wing at back with tiled roof. INTERIOR: partial inspection only; timber framed rear wing includes deeply-chamfered ground-floor beam.
