Description
No. 68 is a house located at the end of a row on High Street, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of Flemish bond brick with a tiled roof and features brick stacks at the gable ends. The building is two stories high and has three windows with sash frames. The front door is notable for its six fielded panels and a fanlight, set within a round-arched brick surround. On either side of the door are 12-pane flush sash windows. The first floor has three 9-pane sashes, each framed with moulded architraves and flat arches above. To the right of the door, there is a segmental-headed opening leading to the cellar. The right side of the house is finished in coursed rubble stone, while the rear has two-light casements on both the ground and first floors. The interior has not been inspected.
