Description
No. 67 High Street is a late 18th century house and post office located at the end of a row. It features an English garden wall and is constructed of Flemish bond brick with a tiled roof and brick stacks. The house, which is to the right of the post office, has two storeys and two windows. It includes a 4-panelled door with a segmental head and a 16-pane sash window on either side. The first floor has two 2-light casements. The post office is a single storey with an attic and boasts a well-designed 19th century double shop front with flat elliptical heads over the lights, separated by slender shafts, and a central glazed door, with no windows on the upper floor. The left return of the building is made of rubble stone and has a blocked attic window. The rear of the property is not accessible. Inside the house, there is a chamfered beam.
