Description

The Holbert family monument is located in the churchyard of the Church of St Mary, approximately 10 metres east of the chancel. This Grade II listed pedestal monument commemorates members of the Holbert family, with the earliest inscription dating back to 1806. It is made of limestone and features a moulded plinth. Inscriptions are present on three sides, with fielded rectangular panels on the north and south sides and raised oval panels on the east and west. Each corner has quarter balusters, and the monument is topped with a thick moulded capping that includes a pyramidal upper capping and a pyramidal finial.
