Woodlands Farmhouse

Woodlands Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the early 17th century, with further developments in the mid to late 17th century and later extensions. The building features rendered timber framing and coursed squared and dressed limestone, with large squared and dressed quoins. It has a concrete tile roof and brick stacks. The layout is complex, with the original section running north-south and a later section at right angles to the west, along with additional extensions to the gable end of the latter. There is a 19th-century service wing or outbuilding to the east of the original section. The farmhouse is 1½ storeys and has a cellar, as well as a two-storey section.

On the south front, there is a three-light casement window with horizontal glazing bars on the ground floor of the early range, and a two-light casement window above it. To the left, there is a two-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casement on the ground floor, and to the right, a two-light wooden casement with a gablet above, along with a plank door featuring a plain doorcase. Similar casements are found in the extensions to the left, and there are segmental-headed doorways. The north front has two 20th-century three-light casements and a three-light canted bay window from the mid to late 17th century range. The building has gable end and axial stacks. The interior is not accessible.
