Description

Greywalls is a semi-detached house, originally dating to the 17th century but largely rebuilt in the late 18th and 19th centuries. It is constructed of limestone rubble with an artificial stone slate roof, a 20th-century dressed stone stack, and a brick stack. The house has a rectangular plan with a later extension to the rear. It is two storeys and has an attic.

The front facade is symmetrical, featuring two bays. The right-hand bay contains 19th-century three-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casement windows with stopped hoods and glazing bars, and a similar window to the first floor. The left-hand bay has 17th-century three-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casements. A central 18th-century door, featuring four flush panels, is set within a gabled stone-built porch with a stone finial. The building has flat gable-end copings. The interior was not inspected.
