GV II

Unidentified chest tomb. C17. Limestone. Partially legible inscription, partly in Latin, on south side in sunken rectangular inscription panel. Initials E.F. and M.F. below inscription, the former with small simple incised skull below, the latter with heart shape below. Initials E.F. with heart shape between letters below. North side and west end of tomb fragmentary. Thick capping with moulded margin. An important early monument, in poor condition at time of survey (April 1985).
