Description
Prince's Plume is a detached cottage that dates from the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. It features square-panelled timber framing with painted brick infill set on a blue lias plinth, topped with a concrete pantile roof and brick stacks. The main body of the cottage is rectangular in shape and stands at one and a half storeys. The upper floor is illuminated by two raking two-light dormers, while the ground floor has one and two-light steel casements with horizontal glazing bars. There is a two-light 20th-century casement with leaded panes located on the far left. An early studded plank door is situated within a 20th-century painted brick porch, which is positioned off-centre to the left. The cottage also has projecting gable-end stacks. The interior has not been inspected. The lean-tos at the rear, dating from the 19th and 20th centuries, are not considered of special interest.
