Description
No. 151 High Street is a narrow-frontage house that includes a shop, dating from the early 19th century but built on earlier fabric. The building is rendered with a tiled roof and has a right-angle plan. It stands three storeys high and features a single-windowed façade with 16-pane sash windows set on stone cills. The late 19th-century shop front includes a glazed door beneath a transom light, which is recessed to the left, and has a deep fascia supported by console brackets. Above each window, there is a wide plain panel with a raised moulded surround. The stone moulded cornice extends across the front beneath a plain blocking course. The interior has not been inspected, but the roof is reported to be inaccessible.
