Description
10 Mill Bank is a house dating from the late 16th or 17th century, located at the back of a row of buildings. It features square unbraced box timber-framing, with each storey consisting of two panels high and a mid rail. The structure includes brick nogging, a tile roof, and a brick stack. This house is adjacent to No. 9 and has a rebuilt brick gable, suggesting that it was likely constructed around the same time as No. 9. The front of the house faces an alley and is two storeys high with one window. On the first floor to the right, there is a two-light casement window, above a six-light early casement window. To the right of the windows, there is a 20th-century door. The brick stack to the right is shared with No. 9. The roof features a large dormer on the far slope, and the end gable has one heavy corner post that is exposed. The interior has not been inspected.
