Description
Roshine and Abbey Mill Cottage are a pair of cottages located at the end of a row on Mill Street in Tewkesbury. They were originally built in the late 15th or 16th century but were refronted in the mid or late 18th century. The cottages are timber-framed with an 18th-century brick front and feature a steep-pitched tile roof with a brick stack. The buildings have a parallel-plan layout with two storeys and an attic, displaying one window each on the front.
On the ground floor, the cottages have half-brick segmental heads. No. 14 features 19th-century two-light casements, while No. 15 has 20th-century replacement casements. There are 20th-century doors to the left and right of the cottages. A two-course brick mid string runs across the front, and there is a large square central brick stack located below the ridge. The rear of the cottages showcases close-studded tension-braced framing, with two two-light gabled dormers and various lights below. The interior has not been inspected.
