Description

This is a house in a row, likely dating to the 16th or 17th century. Its construction features a base of coursed rubble, with roughcast rendering above a visible timber frame. The roof is covered in stone slate, and includes a brick chimney stack on the left side. The house is one storey and has an attic, with a single window. A gabled dormer window, featuring a 2-light casement, sits over the roof. The main window is a 5-light casement from the 19th century, with horizontal glazing bars. A late 20th-century door is set within a broad, chamfered frame on the right. The house appears to have been built at the same time as number 72, which adjoins it. Number 70, which previously stood in this row, has been removed.
