Description

No. 71 Gloucester Street is a house in a row, built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of limestone ashlar and features a plain string band at the first floor level. The roof is low pitched and covered with Welsh slate, and there is a brick stack at the left gable. The house has two storeys and is two-windowed, showcasing good contemporary sashes set in reveals with glazing bars. To the right, the door is a four-panel design, with two glazed panels, and is topped by a shallow transom light with margin bars.
