Description
Number 19 and The King's Head is an inn and house built in the 17th century, constructed as one building. It features square-panelled timber-framing that has been pebble-dashed, sitting on a painted rubble plinth, with a painted rubble extension. The thatched roof is complemented by painted brick stacks. The main body of the building is rectangular, with a lean-to extension on the right gable end. It has one and a half storeys, with three 2-light wooden casements on the ground floor, which have horizontal glazing bars and shutters. There are also two 2-light eyebrow dormers that do not have glazing bars. The building includes two plank doors and has axial and off-the-ridge stacks. The right gable end is hipped over the extension. The interior has not been inspected.
