Description
The cider house, located approximately 30 meters south of Pardon Hill Farmhouse, dates back to the 18th century. It is constructed from coursed squared and dressed limestone and features a stone slate roof. The building has a rectangular plan with an outshut that has a swept-down roof covering three-quarters of the width. On the north front, there is a 20th-century single-light window to the right and a plank door set back to the left. Inside, the cider house includes a beam with run-out stops, a cider crusher complete with a crushing stone and yolk, a cobbled surround, a stone vat set into the floor, and additional beams with run-out stops.
