Description
Crickley Hill Farm is a detached house that dates from the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. It is constructed from coursed squared and dressed limestone, topped with a stone slate roof and features ashlar stacks. The main body of the house is rectangular and has two 'L'-shaped extensions at the rear. The main section has two storeys, an attic, and a cellar, while the 19th-century extension is two storeys high, and the 20th-century extension is a single storey.
The entrance front is symmetrical with five windows, which are lit by 2-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casements. The central door, added in the 20th century, is a studded plank door with fillets and four glazed panes, sheltered by a stone canopy supported on moulded stone brackets. The windows on the ground and first floors have leaded panes, and there are two 2-light dormers. The 19th-century extension at the rear features two-light stone-mullioned casements with stepped mouldings on the mullions. To the left side of the building, there is a flat-chamfered Tudor-arched doorway. The gable ends of the main body have roll-moulded coping. The interior has not been inspected.
